Testimonials

"The workshops create a space for people to show up, to be seen and heard... It is so unique because it is all about engagement and integated theory, so different from other teacher development workshops." Lisa van Zyl (Well-Being Lead Support, Capitec Foundation)
"You've given us a new perspective on teaching pedagogies and the educational world as a whole. The most impactful training aspect was modelling, how you enabled us through your behaviour to become better educators and develop crucial skills." Kiyara Sewsunker (Teacher, Durban)
"My interactions with Julia have always been stimulating and thought-provoking. Her professional experience has honed her sensitivity to the acutely negative impact on learning, of the psycho-social conditions in many working-class areas." Anthea Roberts (retired Senior Mathematics Education Specialist, UCT)
"The workshop evoked a renewed sense of hope. Sometimes we as educators become despondent and see a learner as 'naughty' when in actual fact the child is communicating a need with us.” (Tammy-Lee Brown, Teacher, Lotus High, Cape Town)
"Julia has an obvious passion for education. Her materials are bright and energetic and she connects so well with the kids. Her workshops really get them thinking about their approach and learning outcomes." Sally (Parent, Cape Town)
